Our Mission
The past is a prelude to the future. The mission of the Darien Historical Society is to collect and preserve archives and artifacts relating to the history of Darien and to serve as a resource for students, educators, historians, genealogists, and other interested persons.
Visit Us
The Old Lace Schoolhouse and Museum is open to the public the first and third Sunday of every month, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Admission is free. Special arrangements may be made for school groups and scout groups to visit. Anyone interested in attending on a day other than open house please contact the museum for special arraignments.
